Item: 150 Description: U-744 No Markings. According to Gish’s Collector’s Guide for Porcelain Insulators, this style was used by General Electric in 1895 on a 22-mile long line from Folsom Dam to Sacramento, CA. I and some friends walked that line in 1968 and also found CD U-701’s like Item 149. Grade B: No chips, but View 2 shows some glaze fractures. Estimate: $75 - $100 Open: $40 Price realized: $85 |
