Item: 148 Description: CD 202 Hemingray Made In O.S.A. (Unlisted Embossing) Hemingray Blue. The Price Guide lists the O.S.A. spelling error, but not with this embossing. This is: “HEMINGRAY 53” (no dash) / “MADEIN O-S-A” (with the letters “EIN” closely spaced and embossed over some other letters or numbers); and the “O” embossed over a letter or number. And then the reverse is embossed “PATENTED / MAY 2 1893”. The Price Guide doesn’t list any embossing on the reverse for the (003) error in spelling Embossing Index Number.
