Item: 42 Description: CD 317 Chambers (010) Dark Bluish Aqua. The color isn’t quite teal blue, but heading that direction. Collectors have nicknamed these large lightning rod insulators as “candlesticks”. The insulator is 7.5 inches tall by 7 inches wide at the base. View 3 and View 4 are close-ups of the embossing. Valued at $700 - $800 in the Price Guide in near mint condition. This one is Grade C for a large slice off the top left in View 2; and a dime-sized flake near the base which is also visible in that same view. Estimate: $400 - $500 Open: $250 Closing price: $410 |
