Item: 41 Description: CD 132.4 Patent 1871 (010) Light Aqua. This rare CD style was used with the CD 317 Chambers Lightning Rod System and is often referred to as a “Chambers Companion”. This example is repaired from two pieces as clearly evident in View 1 and View 2. View 3 is taken from the side to show the groove where the grounding cable fit. From that angle, the repair seam line does not show. But it does show additional chips / flakes. The repair does not show as clearly in person as it does in the photos. It appears to be an older repair and a new re-make using modern materials would likely improve the look of the insulator. Grade R = REPAIRED.
