Item: 291 Description: CD 143 Montreal Telegraph (020) Light Blue with Faint Amber Swirls. Montreal Telegraph, according to Wikipedia, operated from 1847 until it leased its lines to the Great Northwestern Telegraph Company in 1881. Along with the light amber swirls, this insulator has some nice bubbles; a few milky swirls; and attractive straw marks.
