Item: 18 Description: CD 568.8 (Russia) Depression Glass Green. Dating from Czarist Russia, this insulator has the Imperial Eagle embossed on its skirt. It’s a small insulator measuring just 2.25 inches wide by 2 5/8ths inches tall. View 3 compares this insulator, on the left, with a depression glass bowl my Mother acquired during the Great Depression. On the far right in that picture is Item 19. This insulator is Grade B-Plus with a tiny bruise on the inside edge of the inner skirt. There’s a little metallic wire rub in the wire groove and also a few flecks of house paint on the glass.
