Item: 89 Description: U-180A Ohio Brass Wide Groove “Stove Pipe” in Rusty Orange Glaze. Conjecture here… but it appears someone grabbed this insulator using their thumb and a single finger when the glaze was first applied and before the insulator was fired. Note the glove print in the wire groove in both views. The dome is tweaked a little and that might explain why. Grade B-Plus: Two small base flakes. Estimate: $50 - $75 Open: $30 Closing price: $45 |
