Item: 81 Description: CD 133 Brookfield (230) Super Fizzy Aqua. The fizzy bubbles form swirls and swoons and ribbons and steaks and, otherwise, are pretty much everywhere. The surface of the glass is wrinkled and “whittled”, making the embossing difficult to read. There are a number of larger bubbles in the skirt. View 1 and View 2 are taken with the insulator illuminated by a LED flashlight. View 3 and View 4 show the insulator in a back-lit display case. The dark streak in View 3 continues into View 4. It’s the continuation of a swirl where the fizz gives way to darker impurities. Great swirl start to the threads, too. Has a lot more character than most CD 133 1865-dated Cauvet’s patent insulators. Grade A . Estimate: $75 - $100 Open: $45 Closing price: $70 |
