Item: 73 Description: CD 196 H.G. CO. (Unlisted Embossing Variant) Hemingray Blue. What is Different? The embossing for the year “1893” has the “1” embossed over a “2”. See the close up in View 4. Magnificent color. View 3 compares this insulator with Item 74 and Item 75. Note how large the embossing is on this one. Note also how sharply the umbrella slopes compared to the other two. Grade B-Plus: View 5 shows a thin flake at the end of the seam line on the umbrella. Also has a small potstone bruise on the umbrella where the potstone cooled at a different rate than the surrounding glass. The drip points are nearly perfect with only one being partially flaked.
