Item: 72 Description: CD 505 Embossed with a Symbol (Iran) Sage Green. The NIA website says the logo refers to the Mehr family. It also states that “only about 200 of these were believed to have been made.” There are several notable families in Iran with that name. The word “Mehr” means “sun”, “love” or “affection” according to several websites. This is a small insulator measuring 2.25 inches wide by 2.75 inches tall. Grade B-Plus for a small base flake.
