Item: 60  Description: CD – TBA (To Be Assigned). FIDENZA Light Purple. This Italian wall plate is one of only three known in this shape. The second is in a private collection and the third is Item 61. These were used to insulate a wire as it passed through the wall of a powerhouse. View 3 shows all three known examples in place before they were removed from a building. The Italian collector who removed them says they were used on voltages from 5 to 15 KV. Measuring just over 8.5 inches in circumference by 2.75 inches “tall”, these are about the size of a CD 1171. But their shape is different as shown in View 1 by the raised exit port. This one is embossed with a tiny star-shaped logo for FIDENZA and the number “6022”. The inside edge of the entry port was ground smooth at the factory.  Grade A .
