Item: 53 Description: CD 121 Am. Tel & Tel (039) Purple. This is NOT your ordinary purple Am Tel & Tel toll. Not at all. And for several of reasons. First, the embossing: There’s a period is after “AM” but nowhere else. More importantly, the second “E” is missing its middle bar. See View 4. And next, as View 2 shows, this one has a number on the dome. I have seen dozens of purple Am Tel tolls with no periods (the 095 EIN with no embossing on the dome) for every one of these. I’d say at least 30 to One. Grade A-Minus: Two teeny wire ridge nicks and one teeny base nick… all quite insignificant. Estimate: $150 - $200 Open: $75 Price realized: $170 |
