Item: 51 Description: CD 162 Hemingray (230) Sapphire Blue. View 1 is taken in bright sunshine with the insulator resting on a white cloth. View 2 and View 3 are taken with fluorescent lighting. View 5, in another sunshine shot, compares the color of this insulator (on the left) with Item 52 in cobalt blue. In View 3, note the large bubble in the dome and smaller one in the skirt. View 4 shows the base. A thin base slice damages 5 drip points. About 20 other drip points are blunted; flaked or partially flaked. There’s also light wear on the sharp upper wire ridge.
