Item: 48 Description: U-1364A Howard Jobson (United Kingdom). Jobson Brothers was founded in 1873 to make telegraph equipment. Previously, Robert Jobson had obtained a patent to manufacture porcelain and stoneware insulators. The company merged with Bullers in 1885. Grade B: No chips or flakes, but there is wire wear in the wire groove; and fractures in the inner skirt. On this early insulator, the inner skirt was cemented into the outer shell. I guess, technically, that would make this a multi-part. Estimate: $150 - $200 Open: $100 Price realized: $150 |
