Item: 44 Description: CD 123 E.C.&M. Co. SF (030 – B Mold) Bluish Aqua. The insulator leans a little due to an over pour on one side of the base. Both EC&M’s in View 4 are B-Molds, but differ in height and color. This one, on the left, measures 3-and-7/8ths inches tall. The other is Item 45. This one is Grade B: No damage to the insulator apart from the base where it has a two-inch-long, shallow flake/chip. Otherwise, there are just the typical nibbles around the base created when the insulator was removed from the mold. There are natural, shallow, annealing lines in the skirt. This insulator is from the collection of Grandma Sammis. An early day collector, Ellen Sammis assembled a nice collection of insulators prior to her passing in 1995. That collection was stored away intact until this past summer. This is the first time this insulator has been seen in public in 30-years. Estimate: $200 - $250 Open: $120 Closing price: $160 |
