Item: 390 Description: U-2294A Germany. Made by Porcelain Industry Berghaus under an April 17, 1940 patent, this unusual style combines the mounting pin and the insulator into one piece. I don’t see the Berghaus marking on this piece. It measures 5.75 inches long by 4.25 inches tall on the back plate. View 3 shows the difference between this insulator and Item 391. This one, on the right, has a straight back. View 4 show notes written on the backside by a previous owner. Grade B: Two-inch-long shallow flake on the underside of the insulator; small & thin flake on the back side (View 4); and a couple small wear spots in the glaze.
