Item: 386 Description: CD 288 Mershon (020) Aqua. This insulator is the ICON of the Rocky Mountain Region of the American West… a TRIPLE RIDGE Mershon. View 1 is the prettiest view of this piece. Note the under poured umbrella. View 2 is the opposite side. Again, the insulator displays well. View 3 shows the embossing. Note the under poured base. On the right, the tip of the second ridge has been re-glued. The discolored area in the center is an old expoxy repair. View 4 shows major fractures in the core, dome, umbrella and down through the base. The next owner may want to consult an authority on repairs for an opinion on how much better this piece could be made to look. Grade C-Minus at best.
