Item: 38 Description: CD 688.1 L’ Electro Verre (France) Green. These are nicknamed “Robots”. The design combines features of a “spook” and a “T-bar”. This one still has its original copper bolts and copper nuts in place. See View 3. The NIA website says the hardware was used to attach a fuse. The insulator is 5-and-five-eighths inches tall. Grade B-Plus: Flake on one arm visible to the left in View 1. There’s also a small, thin, flake on the arm shown at the left in View 2. Otherwise, only a few surface flea bites.
