Item: 37 Description: CD 435 No Embossing (England) Light Straw. Believed to have been made by Pilkington Brothers Ltd of Lancashire, this style was used in Uruguay. Rather scarce, the insulator measures 3.25 inches across at the base by 4-and-three-eighths inches tall. This is a Grandma Sammis insulator. A world traveler, she wrote on the labels inside the skirt that she acquired this insulator in the Cayman Islands in March of 1973. Grade B-Plus: Small base flake.
