Item: 34 Description: CD 162 N.E.G.M. (010) Blue. View 3 compares the color of this insulator with an aqua NEGM on the left and a blue-aqua example on the right. The Price Guide values both “blue” and “sapphire blue” at $500 - $600. Since I haven’t handled one this blue before, I’ll ask the question, “Is this one blue enough?” Grade B: Nothing major, but there’s an Impact mark and light ping as shown in View 2. Also, there’s a shallow stress line in wire groove and a number of tiny flea bites / nicks. Estimate: $300 - $400 Open: $75 Closing price: $80 |
