Item: 339 Description: CD 257 Hemingray (070) Aqua with Amber Patch in One Ear. This insulator has an engraving error. The June 17, 1890 patent date reads June 17, 1893. See View 3. Regarding the amber, from some angles the spot resembles a polliwog; from others: a winged insect. Poor Mouse, it’s got a bug in its ear. See View 4 for a close-up.
