Item: 32 Description: CD 257-Style Commemorative. Made in 1983 by John & Carol McDougald to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Founding of the National Insulator Association. Explanation: The first National Show was in 1970, but the NIA wasn’t created as an organization until 1973. View 3 shows the embossing on the base. Listed as SI 257-5.000 in the Price Guide, this commemorative is full sized (5 inches tall). The color is described in the Price Guide as Peacock Blue, but this one looks like cobalt blue to me.
