Item: 32 Description: CD 143 Montreal (020 – Smooth Base) Blue Aqua with Minor Milky Swirls. I’m giving emphasis to this being a smooth base example. That’s because blue aqua is an unlisted color for this (EIN). A specialist who saw a picture of this insulator made two comments: First, he believed it would have a grooved base because of the color. And second, he noted it was in quite good condition. Well, as View 4 shows, this insulator (on the right) has a smooth base the same as Item 31. Grade B-Plus: Small paper-thin flake / ping on the skirt shown at the far right of View 2. (The dark spot in the dome at the left in that view is the shadow of a bubble.) The insulator has a couple insignificant pin pricks on the front and some light wire groove wear. Estimate: $100 - $120 Open: $50 Closing price: $80 |
