Item: 313 Description: CD 579 Embossed “V.R.” on one side the dome and “PNT” in an oval on the other side. This blue insulator is from Poland. The NIA website states that “V.R.” stands for “VITRUM”, which is the Latin word for glass. And there’s a lot of glass in this large insulator. It stands five-and-three-eighths inches tall. Grade B-Plus: No chips nor flakes. Has a fair amount of wear on the wire groove and cable groove. Estimate: $50 - $75 Open: $35 Closing price: $40 |
