Item: 309 Description: U-1941 G.P.O. / Bullers Pothead. This is a dry spot insulator. Telephone wires connect underneath the cap where there is a dry spot from moisture. View 2 shows the cap removed. The Bullers trademark is incused on the other side of the insulator. Bullers made the insulator for the General Post Office (G.P.O.), the agency in charges of the postal, telegraph and telephone service.
