Item: 309 Description: CD 565.1 C/3/H in a Circle in the color of Dark Periwinkle. C/3/H stands for Glass Plant Newman (Belarus). Periwinkle is described as a lavender blue or blue violet. That seems to fit this color quite well. Beautiful piece. Take a look at the skirt in View 2. What looks like it might be a fracture is NOT. That’s a streak of extra glass that drops down from the body of the insulator and lies on top of the inner skirt. There’s a milky stringer associated with the anomaly.
