Item: 3 Description: CD 152 California (010) Yellow. This “hoop skirt” is from the Dwayne Anthony / Dave Hall excavations at the California Glass Insulator factory site in 2019 & 2024. The provenance for this being a genuine yellow colored California insulator is 100% assured. View 3 shows the insulator photographed in direct sunshine. View 4 is a line-up of all three yellow California’s in this auction from those excavations. In addition to the beautiful color, this insulator’s attraction is enhanced by under poured outer & inner skirts. See View 2. In fact, the inner skirt is oval shaped and not round. Grade B-Plus: Small upper wire ridge flake visible to the left in View 1 and View 3. The insulator has some rub marks & flea bites from having been buried for over 100 years.
