Item: 294 Description: CD 132.2 No Name (010) Blue Aqua. Has the number “2” on top the dome. Believed to have been made by an early-day manufacturer of insulators in Beaver Falls, PA. This is fairly crude with the insulator being out-of-round and the base unevenly formed. There’s a faint lehr kiss mark / distortion on the wire ridge. The insulator has some grime in the pin hole and will be prettier when fully cleaned. Grade C-Minus: The only missing glass is a small wire ridge flake. However, there is a faint fracture that rises from the base into the dome and then encircles the dome. The fracture is hard to photograph. View 2 shows the insulator on its side to reveal the fracture lines. Undamaged, this is valued in the Price Guide at $250 - $300. Estimate: $100 - $120 Open: $75 Closing price: $130 |
