Item: 287 Description: CD 154 Whitall Tatum w/ Original Conductor Attached. This is an (010) EIN. It has the number “15” below “MADE IN USA”. CD 154 insulators were designed for telephone and telegraph usages. However, someone put this one in service as a low voltage power insulator. As View 2 shows, two conductors tied off on this insulator and then connected to each other. Probably not the work of a professional.
