Item: 286 Description: Lightning Rod Insulator. Unembossed LRI. An opaque quality to the glass gives this one a Jade Blue Milk coloration. That may be due to staining as this one appears to have been buried. This is an LR 95 in Stephen Bobb’s book, “Catalog of Lightning Rod Insulators.” Excluding the over poured glass, it measures 2.25 inches wide by 2.25 inches tall. There’s a small flake below the side tab. Otherwise the only “damage” is flaking on the over poured glass. See all three views. Estimate: $50 - $75 Open: $30 Price realized: $45 |
