Item: 273 Description: CD 162 Hemingray (130) 7-Up Green. This is the EIN that has the name ‘HEMINGRAY” blotted out on the reverse side and “MADE IN U.S.A.” embossed over the blot out. See View 2 and the close-up in View 3. Grade B-Minus: Some light wear / scratches on the dome. View 4 shows chipping on the insulator’s extremely thin inner skirt. There are also some nibbles at the start of threads. This insulator is from the collection of Grandma Sammis. An early day collector, Ellen Sammis assembled a nice collection of insulators prior to her passing in 1995. That collection was stored away intact until this past summer.
