Item: 253 Description: CD 145 Brookfield 2d (250) Light Blue. All CREBs Go To Heaven. Right! There’s a children’s book by that name. Oh, wait. That’s “All Dogs”. My mistake. But this CREB is planning to go there. Afterall, it already has a HALO. See View 3. This is a 2d in Lee Brewer’s book on CREBs. It’s a “ditto” mold with exceptionally strong embossing; a couple really nice bubbles on the View 2 side; great clarity to the glass and comes with its own HALO (along with other milky swirls). Grade B-Plus: Couple dome pings and some surface flea bites. That rough looking area on the skirt in View 1 is just residue from an old price tag. There’s a spot of extra glass on the lower skirt near the base in View 2 and View 3. Estimate: $20 - $30 Open: $10 Closing price: $25 |
