Item: 253  Description: CD 112 O.V.G. (010) Green. O.V.G. stands for Ohio Valley Glass, a company that operated in Pleasant City, Ohio for about two years. It was sold to Hemingray in 1906.  Grade C-Minus: Slice off the center about the size of a nickel. Can be seen at the left in View 1. Below that is a heavy, but natural, annealing line in the threads. An upper wire ridge flake also shows in View 1. I’d call the depth of color on this one just “green”, and not “dark green” for which there is a substantial premium.
