Item: 251 Description: CD 164 H G CO (Unlisted EIN) Light Aqua. What’s unlisted about it? Well, the H G CO embossing doesn’t have periods after the initials. AND, it’s a transition embossed insulator. Note the position of the H G CO name on both insulators in View 3. On this one, the patent date was squeezed in below the pre-existing name. There’s no (EIN) for a CD 164 with both transition embossing AND no periods. This insulator has a couple nice bubbles and straw marks. Grade A-Minus: Insignificant wear on the upper wire ridge; one drip point with an open bubble at its tip; one drip point that’s partially flaked.
