Item: 235 Description: CD 101 Brookfield (090) Aqua with Abundant Snow & Fizz. The dark spots in View 1 and View 2 are white impurities (snow). They show dark in the back-lit photos because light does not pass through them. The faint amber swirls in those two pictures are just that… faint. They fade out in natural light. View 3 is taken with the insulator illuminated by a LED flashlight with a black cloth background. It reveals the extent of the white impurities. The number under the Brookfield name is “11”. Grade B: Several shallow flakes under the upper wire ridge on the back side. On the front, there are two small & light lehr kiss marks where the insulator bumped another in the cooling rack. That’s possibly the reason for the slight tip of the dome evident in View 1 and View 2. Estimate: $40 - $50 Open: $20 Price realized: $25 |
