Item: 223 Description: U-2906 Pot Bellied Porcelain Piece from the United Kingdom. At first glance I thought this was a "fog bowl" style. But it's actually an oil insulator with the inner skirt upturned to provide a reservoir for insulating oil. The one on the NIA website was found in Spain but is believed to have been imported from the UK. Grade A-Minus for some minor light wear. Estimate: $50 - $75 Open: $30 Price realized: $170 |
