Item: 22 Description: U-425A Victor Cobalt Blue Glaze. View 2 is a close up of the Victor marking and the 1996 date. The marking in View 3 reads, STATE OF MICHIGAN. View 4 shows the underside. This insulator was a special order by Ken Stefan of the Detroit Edison Company, who in addition to his job was an insulator collector. It is said he really liked blue porcelain. These were made in a limited quantity. The insulator measures 5.75 inches wide at the umbrella; 3-inches wide at the base; and stands 5.75 inches tall. It weighs just under 5-pounds. Grade A-Plus .
