Item: 216 Description: CD 132 Patent – 1871 (026) Aqua Hyphenated Bullet w/ Overpressure Load. This is the embossing style with a hyphen between the “19” and the “1871”, instead of a period. Now look at the base. Perhaps View 2 shows what I’m about to mention the best. See that line around the base… and all that glass below it. “All That Glass” is a major over pour as the base of the insulator should be where the line is. Since this is a “bullet” style, I used the term “Overpressure Load” to give emphasis to how much of an over pour this is. If this really was a bullet, it would likely explode and cause catastrophic damage to the gun (not to mention the shooter) when fired. Grade A-Minus: Has a pin prick or two on the surface; and some natural annealing lines inside the skirt. Estimate: $50 - $75 Open: $35 Closing price: $65 |
