Item: 201 Description: Fruit Jar: Atlas E-Z Seal one-pint jar. The Atlas Fruit Jar Company was founded in 1902 through a merger of several older companies. Together they had a business plan to use automatic machines to dominate the glass container business. According to one source, E-Z Seal jars were first referenced in trade journals in 1906.
