Item: 2 Description: CD 160 California (010) Yellow. This baby signal is from the Dwayne Anthony / Dave Hall excavations at the California Glass Insulator factory site in 2019 & 2024. The provenance for this being a genuine yellow colored California insulator is 100% assured. View 3 shows the insulator photographed in direct sunshine. View 4 is a line-up of all three yellow California’s in this auction from those excavations. Besides the outstanding color, this insulator’s attraction is enhanced by strong “straw marks” over and around the dome. Grade B: View 2 shows an inch-long wire ridge chip and a small wire ridge flake / bruise at the far right of that picture. There are a few flea bites from the insulator having been buried for over 100 years. There are numerous natural & light annealing lines in the skirt.
