Item: 198 Description: Ramshorn Insulator: Made of composite material, these were used by the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War 2 for the quick installation of field telephone lines. Unlike ramshorn insulators of the 1860’s, these were mounted with the ramshorn at the top as shown in the photos. In the View 1 photo I removed the shadows & the ramshorn faces out.
