Item: 197 Description: Mini-Nail Knobs: Pig Tail No-Tie Style. The straight part would have fit into a pre-drilled hole. The wire slipped into the curlicue of the “tail” and would remain in place without having to be tied to the insulator. The length is 2-and-an-eighth-inches. I chose to all it a “pig tail”, but the concept is the same as North American ram’s horn insulators. I doubt many of these were ever saved during demolitions. Grade A .
