Item: 191 Description: CD 408 STAS (Romania) Emerald Green w/ Amber Swirls & Larger Than the Norm. If you look at the NIA’s Gallery Page for CD 408’s, you’ll see that nearly all of them are just 3 & 7/8ths inches tall. All but the first one, the cornflower blue one, in the upper left corner which is 4 & 3/8th inches tall. That’s exactly how tall this one is. So this jewel is bigger than norm… and is a fabulous Emerald Green with Heavy Amber Swirls. Even has a nice white potstone near its base. But it gets better. CD 408’s are prone to wire ridge damage. Not this one. Clean, undamaged, wire ridges all way round. Grade A-Minus: for a ping & surface scratches on the dome. Estimate: $120 - $150 Open: $65 Current bid: $70 |
