Item: 187 Description: Pole Top: Two EC&M Pole Top Rings. Squared, tapered, redwood poles erected in the 1870's by the Electrical Construction and Maintenance Company of San Francisco had the insulator pin mounted in the top of the pole. To stabilize the pin in case the wooden pole split when drying, one of these galvanized rings was put round the top of the pole. This lot is for two of those 150-year-old rings.
