Item: 177 Description: CD 143 Canadian Pacific (170) Steel Gray with Purple Swirls. This is one of those insulators that is best viewed with back-lighting. In natural light the purple swirls fade out and the insulator looks gray or off clear. Note the wonderful, squiggly, “straw mark” tumbling off the dome in View 2. Also note the bubbles in the skirt. Grade A-Minus: Couple miniscule nibbles on over poured glass around the base. Estimate: $75 - $100 Open: $45 Price realized: $110 |
