Item: 127  Description: CD 143 C.P.R. (050) Light Aqua “Fun Sized”. This insulator is an “oopsie”… a factory mishap. Note in View 2 that the insulator is shorter and fatter than a typical C.P.R. I believe the insulator was the victim of a lehr kiss that squished it out of round. It appears to have been re-heated to re-shape it, and extra glass above the “R” was polished off. The surface is a bit hazy; the pin hole is out of round; and the base is pitted from the cooling rack. All of those things make this a “one of a kind” conversation piece. There appears to be an unreadable blot-out on the front; Canadian Pacific is blotted out on the reverse; and there’s no “STANDARD” embossing… making this an unlisted EIN. There’s a small open bubble on the base; an additional lehr kiss mark on the reverse dome; but no damage from usage.
