Item: 126 Description: CD 127 Brookfield (063) Light Aqua w/ Amber Swirls. This telegraph insulator is embossed W.U.T. for Western Union Telegraph Company. It also bears CAUVET's name, the inventor of internal threads for insulators. Add in the amber swirls and this is a nice piece of telegraph history. Grade A-Minus: On the left side of the skirt in View 2 you can see extra glass from a lehr kiss. There's some light wire groove wear and a minor scratch on the dome.
