Item: 113 Description: CD 102 Diamond (060) Busy Light Green. There’s a lot going on with this pony. Note the lines around the lower skirt. One goes through the Diamond and a second ends at the bottom point of the Diamond. It gives the appearance that the insulator was chasing and caught up with itself. There are abundant bubbles in the front of the insulator; several diagonal lines of graphite (black) bubbles and several “insects” (black inclusions) in the dome that look like they have legs & feelers. Grade B: Small skirt flake at the base on the right side of View 2. Some nibbles around the base possibly caused by the removal of extra glass; and nibbles at the start of threads. Light bruise inside the skirt at the left seam line in View 1. Those are a lot of words for some very nit-picky stuff. This is a fun insulator. Note: The dark area in the center of View 1 is merely a shadow caused by a diagonal “straw mark” that crosses there. It is not damage. Estimate: $35 - $50 Open: $15 Closing price: $25 |
