Item: 11 Description: CD 145 Brookfield (100) Windex Blue. The Crown Embossed Brookfield beehive (CREB) has the 1870 patent date on the reverse. The Shop Number on top the dome is a “1”. Take a look at View 3. First, it compares the color of this insulator, on the right, with a common aqua example. Second, that aqua is an 1883-1884 style. Note the difference in the shape of the two insulators. Grade B-Minus: View 2 shows a flake off the dome from an impact; and also a short fracture in the dome caused by that impact. Back to View 1: The circular shadow at the top of the dome in this view is caused by the “roof” of the pin hole being tilted as the threads were formed off center.
